Vampire Contact Lenses - How To Scare Your Own Mother

Vampire contact lenses are special effects cosmetic contact lenses. You can wear these contact lenses for adding a realistic and scary touch to your Halloween preparation, or just for scaring your colleagues at work! You can also use these lenses for theatrical purposes, so if you are an aspiring actor or actress, having theatrical contact lenses in your make up locker could stand you in good stead. These lenses will definitely get you noticed.

Vampire contact lenses can be used by anybody whether they need vision correction or not, but equally, if you want lenses with vision correction, then the special effects lenses that you buy over the counter will not help you. They will not be prescription lenses, so if you suffer from astigmatism or any similar optical complaint, these lenses will not help correct your vision.

Vampire contact lenses are different from many of the other coloured contact lenses that you get on the market. They are printed, not tinted, so they would be considered custom contact lenses. Regardless of the natural colour of your eyes, vampire contact lenses will give you a stunning and surreal look.

Those who wear contact lenses on a daily basis will have no problem inserting vampire contact lenses into their eyes, or removing them, and will be familiar with the daily routines required for contact lens care. If you have never worn contacts before however, you should consult your eye care professional when ordering any cosmetic contact lenses, for no other reason than to ensure that your eyes won't suffer from their use, and for understanding and applying the daily care needed for your eyes and for your lenses in order to protect your optical health.

Good hygiene is essential for contact lens wearers, and those wearing cosmetic lenses will be no different. If you follow the proper guidelines for contact lens care, you will prevent infection and damage to the eye. Always make sure that your hands are clean before inserting or removing the lenses, always clean the lenses before storing them, and never share your lenses with anyone else. Equally, never borrow anyone else's lenses either. Eye infections can be very serious, and two sure ways to catch an infection are lack of hygiene and sharing lenses.

As a final word of caution, remember that when you are at a function or a party, keep an eye out for any other party goer's wearing vampire contact lenses. Pay particular attention when they take their lenses out. If for any reason, their eyes look the same with the lenses out as the lenses in, turn round and run like crazy!
